Had a lovely meal at Sicily, an authentic Italian restaurant just across from Victoria Coach Station. It felt like a little escape to Italy right in the middle of London. I went for the linguine vongole — beautifully cooked pasta with fresh clams and that lovely taste of the sea. Simple, comforting and exactly the kind of Italian dish I was craving. If you’re around Victoria and looking for authentic Italian food, Sicily is definitely worth a visit.

After being let down by another restaurant just before our wedding, the team at this wonderful little Italian restaurant completely came to our rescue. From the moment we got in touch, they were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our evening special. The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was warm, intimate, and perfect for celebrating with our closest family and friends. They went above and beyond by creating personalised menus for us, which was such a thoughtful touch, and having their resident pianist playing throughout the evening made everything feel even more magical. It added such an elegant and romantic atmosphere that made the dinner feel truly special. Everything was exactly how I had hoped it would be. We honestly can’t thank Paul and the team enough for going the extra mile and hosting such a memorable wedding dinner. We will always be grateful for your kindness and exceptional hospitality, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

We came in mid afternoon, after a trip to the near-by museums. There was an issue with our booking as we had done it so far in advance but the waitress sat us no problem. The food arrived in minutes and was delicious! You can tell that everything is hand made, especially the pasta which had the tell tale little chew to it. The pizzas were superb, as was the garlic mayo dip. Our little one loved his meal, especially the ice cream at the end. The owner came to check on our food which we liked and he was friendly and interested in our enjoyment. We even sampled a hot berry waffle for dessert, which we would recommend goes on the menu! This was a nice touch The atmosphere was lovely, really homely and welcoming. A group of older gents were on the table behind and you could tell they were regulars, being given no fixed time to depart - just to enjoy. Around £100 for 3 persons, two courses each and a couple of shandies, you really cant complain for anywhere really, let alone the London location. We shall be returning for sure!
